Brewer Morris is working with a large private organisation that have a new position with their Treasury team that they're looking to hire. The Treasury analyst will be part of a small team and will be responsible for a variety of tasks from daily cash management to bank guarantees.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a forecast of guarantee requirements on a 6 month rolling basis.
* Review tender & contract requirements & ensure they are aligned with Guarantee provision.
* Check and review non-standard guarantee wording with issuing Banks.
* Liaise and negotiate with issuing Banks on all corresponding bank charges.
* Coordinate the issue of all guarantees.
* Implement and manage Banks' Guarantee platforms
* Obtain the appropriate levels of authorisation internally.
* Verify and confirm all bank guarantee charges to ensure acceptability for payment.
* Coordinate expired guarantees to ensure they are cancelled in a timely and efficient manner.
* Provide the above activities for the Group's other business units as required.
* Provide advice to the business on other Documentary Credit issues including Letters of Credit.
* Daily management of Pooled UK cash position in relation to HSBC and RBS bank accounts
* Calculations of daily funding requirements in GBP and foreign currencies
* Manage Revolving Credit Facility and Interest Rate swap settlements
* Deal FX/MM positions as required to manage bank balances and enter trades into Treasury Management system
* To always act and behave in a way compliant with company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to values and behaviours, environmental health and safety, ethics and codes of conduct.
* To support sharing best practice and collaborating with colleagues outside of own sphere of business.
Requirements
* Experience of issuing and managing Bonds / Guarantees
* Operational Treasury experience (Front office/Dealing Desk) preferred
* Good academic record
