Key Responsibilities
* Providing tax input into Finance transformations
* Assessing clients' tax operating models and building continuous improvement programmes
* Establishing tax governance structures across a client's business
* Assisting with outsourced internal audits of tax functions
* Designing and implementing tax process and controls
* Evaluating tax technology solutions and providing implementation support
* Advising on the operational aspects of Country by Country reporting
Experience
* ACA or CTA qualified with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
* Track record of winning work and leading projects in the above areas
* Practical experience of designing and implementing tax strategies
* Practical experience of establishing target operating models for tax functions
* Practical experience of establishing tax control frameworks, ideally across all taxes (corporate tax as a minimum requirement)
* Leading projects to manage tax risk, ideally across all taxes (corporate tax as a minimum requirement)
* Designing and improving tax processes
* Practical experience in evaluating tax technology
* Practical understanding of how the tax function fits with the broader finance function
* Proactively builds and maintains strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
* Leads by example and sustains a high level of drive
* Shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude supporting and encouraging junior team members
* Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear
* Ability to adapt communication style and content to different stakeholder groups
