We are acting for one of the Isle of Man's prominent tax and trust consultancies. They advise HNW private clients and their families on all areas of their personal taxation and offshore structuring. Demand for their services continues to grow and they are now keen to make a strategic appointment.
The Board wish to hire a Senior Manager who has the ability to potentially progress to Director grade and form part of the leadership team in due course.
The successful candidate will perform an advisory focused role, providing client-facing tax planning advice. They will also have overall responsibility for the compliance work undertaken by an experienced team beneath them.
In addition to providing advisory services, the individual will be tasked with building relationships with professional advisers and marketing services to potential clients.There is plenty of work on day one, but business development will become an increasingly important element of the role as the individual progresses towards Director.
The individual is likely to be CTA qualified with extensive UK personal tax experience gained in a respected accountancy firm either on the island or the UK mainland.
They will have an excellent understanding of the UK taxation of offshore structures and the anti avoidance legislation relating to Income tax and Capital Gains tax. Strong technical knowledge of offshore multi-jurisdictional taxation regulations, including structuring and related legal requirements is important.
This is an opportunity for someone to really build a name for themselves in the offshore/international private client tax field and offers scope to progress to a shareholder position in due course. Ref 4449
