One of the most respected Top 10 firms in the UK with strong international presence is looking to expand their national tax team. Their business is all about people, believing that each individual makes a difference to the company culture. Due to expansion within their tax team, they are looking for an experienced corporate tax candidate who has excellent technical and advisory skills.
This high profile role will involve
* Working closely with Tax Director and other stakeholders within the business such as Standards & Risk team, financial planning, accounting technical, training, marketing and IT teams.
* Developing, managing and formulating of new policies and procedures
* Improving, analysis and management of efficiency's within tax practices
* Ensuring high levels of standards and quality is maintained, both policies and tax advice
* Being a main point of contact for members of the tax practice on technical and standards and risk management related issues
* Involvement in presentations on technical and risk assessment issues
The ideal candidate
This Tax Manager/ Senior Manager opportunity would suit someone who wishes to develop further their corporate tax careers on the advisory side.
* Experienced Corporate Tax Manager/ Senior Manager with strong technical skills in mainstream corporate tax work such as OMB's
* CTA or ACA qualified is highly desirable
* Analytical with strong understanding of risk assessments
* Meticulous
* Great team player
