Partnership Tax Specialist - to £60k (dependent on experience)
Maven Partners are working with a Global Law Firm to identify a talented partnership taxes specialist with strong accounting skills to perform a broad role supporting the international partnership across 5 continents.
The Role
- Responsibilities include:Preparation of:
- Partnership profit share calculations, tax reserving, distribution and partner communication
- Partnership tax computation including double tax relief claim
- Corporation tax returns for the Partnership’s UK service company
- Partner drawings and distributions
- Maintenance and reconciliation of direct tax nominal ledger accounts
- Liaison with overseas advisors and Finance Controllers to ensure timely income & corporation tax compliance
- Support Finance Team colleagues with withholding tax management and recovery
- Support Finance Team colleagues with international projects and initiatives (new office openings etc.)
Skills and Experience Required
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with solid experience in a professional environment
- Practical experience of income & corporation tax returns
- Ability to interact with senior stakeholders in a professional and eloquent manner
- Self-review, discipline and intellectual curiosity.
- Strong experience in the use of Excel
- High and focused energy levels
