EMEA Head of Tax Compliance, Luxembourg, to €130k, bonus and relocation

This large and very successful US multinational has an opening for an International Tax Manager to take responsibility for a team of Tax Managers that oversee the outsourced tax compliance and also work on large international tax planning projects.

This newly created position is a result of strong growth to help manage direct taxes for this large corporate group in Europe.

The primary focus is about being the Tax Compliance Lead for the EMEA region, whilst also contributing to the other areas of the tax department. They need someone who can provide some financial analysis, get the numbers together to execute projects. From day one you will have 3 people to support you. The role will support the business and support planning. Your role will take a lead in tax audits and take a lead on the compliance process. So they need someone who can communicate numbers.

To fulfil the responsibilities of the role you will have at least 10 years of international tax experience gained in a Big 4 firm and ideally from an in-house team. This role would suit someone with good accounting skills, so ideally someone with an ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification. You must be fluent in English & other European languages would be highly beneficial.
