Head of Tax, UK & Ireland, London, to £110, 000

We have an opportunity for a Head of Tax to lead the UK and Ireland tax function, providing responsible, professional and proactive tax solutions in a cohesive and coherent way.

Leading a team of six tax professionals, your responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring accurate and effective compliance and reporting processes are maintained in addition to managing and further developing a strong working relationship with HMRC.
* Providing a comprehensive tax advisory and planning service to the UK group, whilst working with the parent company on all cross-border issues and international planning.
* Providing tax assistance to all projects including transaction work, contract negotiations, M&A and transfer pricing matters.
* Providing tax advice on indirect taxes including Landfill tax, VAT and environmental taxes.

You will preferably be ACA and/or CTA qualified with a proven track record in UK tax technical issues and have a good understanding of broader international tax matters. This is a challenging in-house role dealing with an unrivalled breadth of tax issues for a range of complementary business areas.
