Are you a Tax Accountant / Manager looking to become the main tax point of contact within a UK leading Consumer Goods Company?

This is a stand-alone tax role where you will develop responsibility to various areas of tax. This is a highly unique opportunity where you will gain all necessary skills in order to run a group tax function. You will become an expert across a range of taxes and benefit from vast amount of autonomy.

The Role:

* To take the lead in tax strategy, planning and compliance for Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE and Stamp Duty Land Tax
* Preparation of the UK corporate tax computations and compliance
* Drive correct employee behaviours on expenses and adherence to the expenses policy
* Minimise use of external tax advisers and reduce their fees
* Assist in the completion and submission of annual statutory accounts, the half-yearly report and liaison with external auditors

This role would suit someone looking to make their first in house move from Practice. Alternatively it would suit someone who is already working in house.
