M&A Tax Manager, Global Insurance group - REMOTE

A global insurance group is looking to recruit a M&A Tax Manager to join their UK office.

This is a fantastic role, which can be fully remote and allows you to work from anywhere in the UK and travel to the London office only 1-2 days per month.

Role:

● Undertake tax due diligence and advising on transactions
● Supporting the Head Tax and other team members in strategic tax initiatives and continuous screening of tax legislation changes
● Monitor and manage international tax issues and risks (withholding taxes, transfer pricing), ensuring that they are appropriately reflected in the tax reporting
● Manage the compliance for some of the larger, more complex, UK entities
● Handle the tax compliance aspects of Due Diligence on acquisitions and assist the Head of Tax with tax input into acquisitions generally
● Lead their review of completion accounts for newly acquired entities
● Lead the effective on-boarding of newly acquired entities and the correct importing of tax balance sheets and tax compliance responsibility
● Assist with strategic issues and tax planning

Qualifications and skills:

● Qualified in either ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent
● Strong Tax Advisory / M&A experience
● Demonstrable experience of international tax issues, particularly transfer pricing and withholding taxes
● Demonstrable experience of managing tax provisioning and compliance in other jurisdictions, involving collaboration with advisers
