Our client, one of the Big 4 firms, is seeking an accomplished and ambitious tax professional to join our thriving corporate tax team in Reading. As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you'll have the chance to shape your future, establish lasting client relationships, and work with some of the most prominent companies in the industry.

This team, consisting of over 100 professionals, spans various disciplines such as international tax, transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions and private client tax (for the OMB market). This diverse range of expertise allows them to cater to a broad spectrum of clients across multinational and privately-owned markets.

Your Role:

As a Senior Manager, you will be a key player in managing client services. Your responsibilities will include:

* Ownership and development of existing UK and international client relationships, as well as cultivating new ones.
* Supporting senior team members and specialists in communication, marketing, and the delivery of advisory services to clients.
* Developing the technical and operational skill set of junior team members.
* Managing and overseeing compliance and advisory projects, ensuring efficient delegation and meeting deadlines.

To apply, you ideally need the following:

* Current or past experience in a UK practice firm within a corporate or mixed tax team.
* ACA or CTA qualified.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
* Proven client engagement experience.
* Initiative to resolve problems and exercise appropriate judgment.
* Drive and spirit to succeed, exceeding clients' expectations with a positive approach to personal development.
* Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
* Adaptability to changes in the external environment and responsiveness to clients in this context.
* Strong team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
* Experience in delegation and a genuine interest in developing junior team members.
