One of our clients, a global market leader in its industry, is looking to appoint a Customs specialist in its EMEA headquarters based in the Limburg region.
Reporting to the Customs Lead, you will be responsible for providing support to ensure compliance with import/export regulations across EMEA, collecting data for the HS classifications, dealing with import/export compliance audits and broker management. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful global company. There are many global customs challenges to address and room for you to make a real impact.
This position will suit someone who is proactive, hands-on and able to ask the right questions. You’ll need to be an ambitious Customs/Trade compliance professional with 5-10-years’ of relevant experience: working with EU Customs Authorities, European Customs regulations, Trade Operations & HS/WCO/BTI rulings.
Fluency in English is essential and the ability to speak another European language would be an advantage. Applications are welcome from customs / trade compliance professionals working across Europe, either in big 4 or in industry. Hybrid working with 1-2 days in the Heerlen office (room for flexibility depending on location, but some degree of on-site working is a mandatory). Up to €90,000 + bonus & benefits.
