Your key responsibilities
The role of a Regional Direct Tax Manager involves managing tax compliance in Germany, The Netherlands and the UK, as well as supporting tax projects for the region. Your duties entail understanding the business strategy, providing commercial tax guidance, and interacting with various stakeholders. You will assist in tax authority engagements, audits and controversies, as well as high-value activities such as contracts, IP, M&A and corporate restructuring. In addition, you will also support US GAAP reporting, manage external advisors and deliver tax training to the business.
Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or Economics with additional qualifications in Taxation or a comparable background with strong accounting and legal skills. You should possess 7+ years of experience in tax management at international business law firms, Big4 companies, or multinational enterprises. Additionally, you should be well-versed in international tax matters, specifically those related to supply chains. As the Regional Direct Tax Manager, you will be expected to excel at multitasking in a fast-paced work environment while demonstrating dynamic initiative and adaptability to quickly meet business needs.
