We here at International Tax Search are currently working with mid-sized professional services firm who are searching for a UK Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager with a tax advisory focus; to be a significant part of their small but growing Corporate Tax Team.

This firm is headquartered in Hertfordshire with a secondary office in the city of London and are a firm of roughly 200 employees. This firm has an extremely diverse book of business with clients in the entertainment and hospitality industries amongst many others, and pride themselves on being the trusted business adviser of choice for entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, high net worth individuals, professional partnerships and expats.

The Firm we are working with are in search of a Corporate Tax Manager/Senior Manager with extensive tax advisory experience to be an integral part of the growth of their Corporate Tax practice. This person would be asked to take up leadership and business development responsibilities amongst other duties which would include preparing, submitting and reviewing accurate and technically correct corporation tax computations and returns. You will provide advice with respect to businesses expanding overseas, Mergers, acquisitions and disposals, Property transactions, Employee incentive options, Research and development tax credits, Tax efficient profit extraction and Capital allowances claims.


A role like this would be ideal for someone who is interested in being a cornerstone of an ever-growing Corporate Tax desk. The ideal person for this role would hold either an ACA or CTA qualification and should have experience of corporate tax compliance services in a medium sized firm. This person should also have a broad experience of managing the financials on clients and adjusting the approach to compliance work depending on the budget. Some experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients and across other service lines. And of course, have strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and be an organised and proactive person. Proficiency using CCH, Caseware and Microsoft Office, including Excel are all beneficial skills also.
