In this role, you will build on your existing US tax knowledge and collaborate closely with our Senior Associates and Managers. They will expose you to various tax-related responsibilities, supporting you to develop your skills in handling complex returns, while you apply your initiative to learn new technical solutions. You will be gathering data for client and tax authority correspondence and progressing your proficiency in workpaper documentation ensuring accurate record-keeping. You will be involved in the research of US tax concepts, will demonstrate technical knowledge in US tax applicable to your grade and follow the developments in US taxation and relevant technology. Effective time management and budget understanding are crucial for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Additionally, you will participate in industry events alongside senior team members, expanding your network and staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
Exceptional candidates who have more extensive experience might be considered for a role as a Corporate Senior Tax Associate.
- 1-2 years US corporate and/or partnership tax experience with a Big 4 or boutique firm serving international clients
- Ideally already an a Enrolled Agent or US CPA; studying to be a Enrolled Agent US CPA will be advantageous
- Proficiency in Excel and a major tax preparation software preferred.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-orientated, organized, and able to work well under pressure
- Fluent written and spoken English, other languages are a plus
