Tax Compliance Manager - Amsterdam

Kingpin International is working with a leading Advisory and Consulting firm who are seeking a skilled Tax Compliance Manager to join their forward-thinking team in Amsterdam.


Your key responsibilities
As a Tax Compliance Manager, you will have ownership of your own client portfolio, where client interaction plays a vital role. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service, assisting them with Dutch tax regulations, and ensuring that they are compliant with all their obligations. You will review transfer pricing documentation and ensure that the declarations align with it.

With your expertise in corporate income tax and dividend tax, you will support clients to assess and improve tax processes, internal and external controls, risk management and automation of those processes. It is essential that you play a mentoring role, coaching and guiding team members to develop their professional skills and personal growth. You will also evaluate tax returns prepared by junior team members and independently prepare corporate tax returns, including complex ones.


Requirements
We are seeking a candidate who possesses a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in a tax return practice or at the Tax Authorities (experience in the financial sector is beneficial but not mandatory). The candidate must hold a degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Business Economics, Finance, Tax and Advice, or Management, Economics & Law. Proficiency in Dutch and English languages, both orally and in writing, is essential. The ideal candidate should be ambitious, proactive, and possess excellent social skills. In addition, the candidate must be accurate, possess analytical thinking, and deliver high-quality work consistently.
