Compliance support role with a leading ecommerce organisation.
Our client is a well recognised Fortune 500 ecommerce organization, looking to grow their Indirect Tax offering, by adding to its Indirect Tax compliance support team. A very good understanding of VAT/GST is required, with responsibility for confirming requirements to register for VAT in jurisdictions inside and outside the EU.
The role
* Lead critical projects, support internal and external teams, develop in-depth knowledge of products, models, payments and financial operations
* Work with external advisors to understand requirements for VAT registrations
* Work with internal stakeholders to complete required documentation
* Deal with any refund requests and reconcile source data to work with tax authorities
* Work with electronically supplied services for both EU and non-EU and Africa
About you
In order to succeed in this challenging role, it is expected that you will have:
* 2+ years in a VAT compliance environment - both for EU and non-EU jurisdictions
* Ideally European VAT compliance experience
* CIMA, ACCA, ACA AAT or similar preferred
* Strong excel and systems skills, with attention to detail
* Experience of VAT registrations
* Team player
* Great communication skills
9 months £290 PAYE day rate - London
