This market leading hi-tech manufacturing company has an opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager, with supply chain tax optimisation experience, to join the EMEA Tax department headquarters based near Lausanne in the Canton of Vaud.
The role reports to the EMEA Tax Director and manages a group of countries in the EMEA region. Work consists of cross border tax structuring, business transformations, tax planning, providing operational tax advice to the business, transfer pricing, tax audits, M&A and restructuring advice. The role also has close involvement in treasury tax matters relating to cash flows. It will also support & review the work of Finance Directors across the region for US GAAP tax accounting and reporting.
The EMEA Tax Manager will lead projects from day one, so strong project management and communication skills are required. The role has been created with succession planning in mind, so the responsibilities are broad & challenging with a view to providing an interesting long term career for an ambitious tax professional.
You will need around 8 years of international tax experience in a Big 4 firm and ideally some experience in an in-house tax department of multinational company. Fluency in English is essential, whilst other languages are advantageous. Enthusiasm and passion for Tax is essential. Candidates willing and able to relocate to Vaud from anywhere in Europe are welcome.
