Global VAT Compliance Manager In House

Our client is a growing, already very successful business, with very ambitious growth plans, funded by growing revenues and a powerful group of investors. They are a pioneer of eCommerce for their sector and their technology is trusted by many world famous brands as their main route to consumers.

This online proficiency means that the group has performed well in 2020 and will continue to prosper in the 'New Normal', where online overtakes high street and other physical routes to market.

They are seeking a talented VAT compliance specialist who has experience of working in or providing VAT services and advice to multinational companies. You will have experience of co-ordinating multinational VAT compliance delivery or projects and also have experience of working with VAT software, so you can help the group adapt to the MTD environment.

You will manage the outsourced provision of VAT compliance services for the subsidiary companies and also be responsible for completion and submission of the UK/Head Office VAT compliance and returns.

This is a role with plenty of scope to grow and develop. In terms of the day to day work, the initial focus in EMEA, but it will expand to cover the rest of the world as you learn the role. In terms of longer term objectives, you will see opportunities both in the UK and abroad.

Reporting to the Global Head of Indirect Tax in London, you will work closely with colleagues here and overseas.
