In-house Corporate Tax Manager (FTSE 100)

Join a high-profile FTSE 100 company and work with a well-respected & supportive head office tax function.

You will work on a number of on-going work streams with a specific focus on managing the UK Tax compliance process (outsourced). We are looking for someone who has an eye for process improvement & thoughts on how best to use tax technology.

As a relatively small Tax function, you must also be prepared to help on tax reporting matters during busy periods, preparing year-end tax provisions for UK companies for example & other related duties.

UK business partnering is a key part of the role - acting as the initial point of contact for them across all UK taxes. You will liaise with Indirect, Employment & other Tax experts across the team to deal with issues as they arise - developing a broad base of experience.

Over time, there will be scope to develop experience with ad-hoc projects through tax work, such as reviewing transfer pricing arrangements, new product development (R&D) and M&A projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Tax Manager / Tax Manager to make their first move into a commercial tax role or for an in-house Tax Manager to take on more responsibility.
