EMEA Tax Accounting Manager - multinational (remote working)

This is an opportunity to work for a large multinational group, handling the day to day tax issues for the EMEA region – with a specific focus on tax accounting and compliance management. The role reports into the Finance Director and has one direct report, whilst offering plenty of interaction with other stakeholder across the business.

The primary focus of the role is to manage and control tax accounting matters across the EMEA region. This includes ensuring reconciliations are timely prepared and accounting entries recorded, monitoring compliance with all local statutory tax requirements, ensuring all tax payments are timely made and providing cash tax forecasts to corporate tax department.

Furthermore, the department is starting to utilise technology to manage some aspects of tax (especially around the BEPS filings and VAT) so you will participate in business process and systems improvements and appreciate the value of digitalisation initiatives. This involved being proactive and liaising effectively with non stakeholders (like I.T.)

UK experience is important and ideally you would have had experience of reconciliation work across multiple countries also.
