A career opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tax Manager to join this well known FTSE 250 group. This unique proposition offers genuine scope to grow and develop in the role, and to take on a larger role and become a number 2 to the Head of Tax. The client is relaxed about your main location although you will need to be able to get to London for meetings when needed.
You will be reporting to a Head of Tax who has a wealth of experience in building high calibre teams and raising the internal profile or tax. The role will have one direct report who you will hire upon joining and has a remit across compliance, reporting, international tax, M&A support and transfer pricing. Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring time timely delivery of UK tax compliance obligations and supporting the international business with theirs
* Providing corporate tax advisory services to the UK and internationally
* Leading the delivery of half and full year Group consolidated tax reporting
* Providing tax advice on group restructuring projects including the acquisitions and disposals Supporting the Head of Tax in monitoring the effectiveness of the corporate tax governance framework
As the successful candidate you will be operating at Senior Manager level and have experience of working in fast paced, multijurisdictional groups. The culture of the group means your success in this role will be driven not just by technical ability, but by proactively building strong working relationships across the business and external stakeholders and you must be able to demonstrate ability and experience of doing this.
