In-house Tax Manager, Leeds

Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a Leeds employer of choice to recruit an In-house Tax Manager for their city centre office.

Working as a part of a well-established tax team, you will report directly to the Senior Director and be responsible for both compliance & reporting and tax planning matters including:-

* UK corporate tax compliance, including capital allowance processes, tax return preparation and submission process
* Completion of financial reporting packs
* Reviewing UK tax developments to identify risks/opportunity areas for the business
* Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities
* Evaluating impact of major transactions and seeking to minimise the taxation cost
* Ad hoc project work and supporting the wider business

It is essential that you have a proven track record in a corporate tax focused role, with experience in both the preparation of tax computations and preparing tax accruals and disclosures for statutory accounts. In addition to this, you must have excellent numeracy, communication and interpersonal skills.
