Head of Tax, FTSE listed business, West London, to £130k + car + bonus + benefits

Based in West London, my client is a market leader in the sector, and is looking to appoint a Head of Tax. This role will cover all areas of tax and will play a pivotal role in transitioning the function towards true business partnership. Your technical knowledge will ensure compliance and reporting are well maintained and that there are no surprises for the senior leadership team. However, your true 'value add' will be in delivering long term risk management, effective tax planning, and the management and development of a small team. The ideal candidate will be a Big 4 qualified tax professional, with exposure to all areas of the tax profession, and a strong track record of delivery 'in house'. Exposure to a capital intensive business is preferred, as is a strong knowledge of the US tax regime. You will also be able to influence non-tax professionals and will demonstrate a commercial acumen that transcends tax.
