Management Accountant

A Management Accountant position has arisen within a reputable Healthcare chain. Based in Central London, you will be working within a dynamic team and will have the option of fantastic career progression. The main purpose of the role will be to contribute to the month end account preparation including Financial and Management accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in the production of the weekly and monthly Flash reports
* Assemble information from payroll and other departments to generate the Monthly Labour Statistics
* Complete accounts within set deadlines
* Maintain the Receipts and Payments Cashbooks, ensuring banking/payments are agreed daily
* To reconcile monthly control accounts within the agreed timescales including Bank, Debtors, Creditors and Stock
* Managing Petty Cash
* Maintain Fixed Asset Register and Accruals/Prepayment Schedules.
* Responsible for retrieving and safeguarding cash from the safe
* Raise and post all journal vouchers to facilitate the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
* To produce Monthly Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet
* Oversee the Purchase Ledger function

Skills/Experience

* Demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting demands on time
* Analytically minded, and ability to take on and complete projects with a professional and methodical approach
* Good excel and system skills
* Available at short notice
* Strong attention to detail
