Assistant Corporate Tax Manager

This leading independent practice can offer an exciting opportunity for an accomplished corporate tax specialist with strong compliance and advisory exposure to join this leading firm of tax and business advisers.

In this wide-ranging role, you will handle the corporate tax affairs for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients which include organisations in the media and entertainment sector as well as a range of other growing and entrepreneurial owner managed businesses.

Specifically, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting corporate tax returns, reviewing tax computations prepared by junior team members and preparing quarterly reports to clients. In addition to the compliance element of the role, there will be a strong advisory component, which will include assisting the partners with advisory projects including EIS and SEIS advance assurance applications, HMRC clearance applications and company valuations as well as other ad hoc advisory projects.

Ideally, you will possess previous corporate tax compliance experience within a firm of accountants as well as have had at least some exposure to advisory issues. In addition, you should have gained some supervisory exposure and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communications skills.
