Brewer Morris is currently working with a leading investment bank to recruit a tax professional to join their advisory team. With a large London based tax function, the business offers an excellent platform for a first in-house move, and will give someone the opportunity to build a long-term career that could have multiple paths.
The successful candidate will be the link between the tax team and the business, providing tax support on mergers, acquisitions, financing and restructuring. Relationship building is key to make this role work efficiently, and as such will suit someone who is confident in communicating with front-office professionals, as well as senior stakeholders across the group.
The right person for this role will be currently working in a Big 4 M&A / Deals team. It is expected that you will have had a strong track-record of promotion and will likely have 3/4 years post-qualified experience. At interview you will be expected to demonstrate a history of being a key advisor across a range of transactions as well as the aptitude and passion to thrive in an in-house role.
