Tax Advisor - Front office, London, to £110k + significant bonus

A pure advisory front office support Tax role with significant exposure to all lines of business in this internationally recognised Investment Bank.

Our client has a strong brand in the global Investment Banking industry. They continue to expand in their key markets and have built a reputation for innovation and creativity in developing new business lines and revenue streams.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Tax front office support team, key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Advising business units and treasury on tax issues relating to new transactions and products,

* Oversight of tax aspects of all legal documentation (e.g. share purchase agreements, tax deeds, ISDA, GMSLA, GMRA).

* Leading the tax work stream on internal projects, such as changes in legislation, consultations, corporate restructuring and simplifications, thin capitalisation and recapitalisations.

* Liaising with group tax and finance regionally and globally, and external advisors including law firms and accountancy firms.

Profile

This role will suit Tax professionals with a strong track record in complex international Tax Advisory work. Whilst experience in Financial Services is certainly an advantage my client is open minded to strong candidates with a more Commerce & Industry type background. Tax Lawyers looking for a move in house from practice are also very much of interest.

Job Offer

Between £80,000 - £110,000 base plus significant bonus and benefits package.
