Our Technology & Innovation team enables the development and adoption of new technologies within PwC. We are a diverse and multi-disciplinary group of 60 including Data Scientists, Developers and Project Specialists. Our key areas of focus are: internal process automation, digital client service, and data & analytics.
This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an innovative team within the Tax line of service. We are looking for a high energy and ambitious individual to join the client delivery sub-team responsible for managing the day to day running of our digital products and infiltrating the business to explore new opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will have project management, some technology sales and team leading experience within a tax technology environment, ideally within the big four or a software house. You will have been involved in managing multiple projects, stakeholders and priorities simultaneously. The core attributes and responsibilities of this role:
This is a multi-faceted role, overseeing day-to-day operations as well as focusing on the long-term growth of technology uptake within the business, contributing to adoption and growth targets for specific products. The role will also entail pursuing new business opportunities as well as management across multiple projects and groups such as practice stakeholders and external clients, junior team members, technology implementation, and other matters that relate to team operations.
Use your knowledge of Tax to assist team lead in engaging with clients and practice teams to identify new revenue opportunities for our products.
Building a strong network across PwC, educating the practice about technology, enabling them to inform their clients about the digital services we can offer as well as building trust to allow us to have direct contact with their clients.
Act as a spokesperson and evangelist for our products; assisting team leader in identifying opportunities for presentations at appropriate internal/external forums.
Work with other teams to advise and capture technical requirements for projects, particularly in relation to new functionality requests and building use cases where appropriate.
Oversee alignment for the delivery of work to the business which could involve anything from creating new instances from existing configuration, to project managing new products or functionality releases.
Reporting on live products to team leader from a delivery and operational perspective; updating them on status, engagement pipeline and any challenges/opportunities identified.
Ability to configure PwC technology products at the specification of client teams and the ability to review junior work from a quality assurance perspective.
Awareness and understanding of Risk management process with the ability to navigate our technology through Technology Risk Assessments and mandatory requirements. Knowledge of the firms systems and processes including CRM (Salesforce) and Authentication (IdAM).
Client query management. Act as a key point of contact for client relationships, representing the PwC brand.
Data modelling experience, knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI would be advantageous, self-motivated to learn new systems.
Strong attention to detail, experience and devotion to ensuring great client experience and willing to go above and beyond to deliver this.
Drive high performance amongst juniors in the team, coupled with a genuine commitment to understanding people’s strengths and championing their progress and well-being.
