Your new company
A Top 10 firm looking to expand their Liverpool-based Tax function with the addition of a new Tax Hub Senior Associate. This firm is looking to bring the successful on board to help shape their shared service centre strategy. The function has grown exponentially - they have created over 100 jobs in the last 12 months and are continuing with this effort.

Your new role
As a Tax Hub Senior Associate you will support regional client facing tax teams with review and quarterly assessments in respect of personal, corporate and VAT tax returns. You will be tasked with delegating / assigning work to the team and help in the process of coaching junior team members, providing feedback where necessary, and assessing the team's continued productivity, providing assistance when possible. Dealing with internal queries will also play a part in your role. Timely delivery of QA outputs is imperative and ensuring the volume and quality is of a consistent high standard is also expected.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will need to either be AAT qualified (or equivalent), or have relevant experience qualifying you for the job. You will have experience working within both personal and corporate tax and you will have strong IT skills to help speedy navigation of the firm's systems (knowledge of CCH and Alphatax would also be useful). The ability to work well in a team and good communication skills are required, as well as excellent time management skills and a capacity to work unsupervised and possess an intuitive mindset.
