A well-established practice is sourcing for a market facing Tax Insurance specialist with a passion for the industry. As one of the main drivers of this business you will be working with the biggest names in the insurance industry, including the Lloyds of London market, life and health insurers, commercial and private insurance providers and brokers, supporting UK companies as well as large international and medium sized businesses. There-fore you will develop and lead client relationships at the CFO/Head of Tax level.
This role is ideal for an individual who feel progression for whatever reason is limited in their current role (whether in-house or Practice) and would like to opportunity to be a respected advisor, whilst working on industry leading advisory projects.
From a technical point of view, you will lead on a variety of products, some examples are:
* Provide tax advice to ensure tax efficient structuring for the group and its investors, including recommendations as to how risks could be mitigated.
* Provide strategic advice on international reorganisations (including Brexit restructuring), international insurance start-ups and acquisitions and disposals (including buyer and vendor due diligence).
Prepare and present at client meetings on topics such as Brexit and Tax Treaties
* Keep up to date with tax legislative developments and assess the impact to clients, including MDR, IFRS, BEPS, CCO, loss utilisation, interest restrictions and US tax reform.
Whilst being a leading advisory for the industry, you will spearhead a team, expand the team and lead the charge of training and developing the current incumbents, with the help and assistant of the wider leadership group.
