Personal Tax Assistant / Senior Job, Top 10 CA Firm, Glasgow, £20,000 - £32,000 + benefits

A progressive independent Chartered Accountancy Firm with several decades experience of offering a variety of services including Accounts, Audit, Taxation and Advisory has been experiencing further business growth, which has resulted in the requirement for a new Personal Tax Assistant or Senior within their Glasgow office. As an award-winning organisation with a wide range of clients, from individuals, family businesses and large corporations, this is an exciting opportunity for you to gain a breadth of experience and brilliant professional development.

Your new role
Working as part of a Personal Tax Team of 6 individuals, you will be responsible for a portfolio of private clients in relation to their compliance and ad-hoc advisory requirements. You will regularly liaise with your clients, who will be a variety of Directors, HNWIs, Trustees and Pensioners. Examples of clients are Doctors and Dentists. You will also review computations completed by the wider Accounts Team in relation to Sole Traders and Partnerships, and assist in the development of Trainees, depending upon your experience.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have practical personal tax experience gained within a firm of Chartered Accountants for in excess of 2 years. Ideally you will be ATT qualified however those qualified by experience are also welcomed to apply. You will feel confident delivering high-quality work inline with strict deadlines and be motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
