VAT Manager - Greenfield Team Building Opportunity

Greenfield position for a no 2 to report into the VAT Associate Partner. You will effectively and promptly provide sound advice to clients in all areas of VAT, be a key figure in the development of the VAT team and manage your growth with a view to progress into a senior position.

The role would suit a highly skilled VAT professional to assist the business in achieving their strategic goal of being the number one advisor to owner managed businesses.

Key duties

* Act as central part of VAT team, reporting directly to VAT Associate Partner
* Provide clear practical advice to clients
* Ensuring delivery of the team's work to agreed deadlines
* Ensure risk is managed and, where appropriate, evidenced
* Build relationships internally and externally to develop VAT advisory work
* Assist in developing the junior team members
* Prepare technical updates to be circulated internally and externally

Experience

* At least 5 years' experience of working within a practice environment
* Experience of advising OMB's on VAT matters
* Experience in handling a portfolio of clients
* Ideally experience of networking, business development and article writing
