Senior Manager International Tax, Bochum (NRW)

This is an opportunity to join the European tax department of a globally leading, European multinational company near Essen. This is a newly created role in a newly created team. The Senior Manager International Tax will support the International Tax Director on group level international tax projects, such as leading APA negotiations. The work will include international tax planning, transfer pricing, handling relationships with fiscal authorities and supporting business projects. The purpose of the role is to sit closely with the tax department leader to manage share the workload which will include supporting and supervising junior colleagues in meetings with senior management, fiscal authorities and other stakeholders.

At least 7 years of German corporate tax experience is needed, either from a Big 4 firm, law firm, or from the in-house tax department of another multinational company. The Steuerberater qualification is strongly preferred. Clear communication skills in English and German are also essential.
