Corporate Tax Specialist required for mid-tier firm - central Birmingham offices - flexible working available
Your new company
My clients are a mid-tier firm with offices around the UK as well as globally as part of their wider network. Due to growth in their client base, they are seeking to add to their tax team in Birmingham and will consider individuals from Tax Senior level through to Assistant Manager.
Your new role
Reporting directly into the Tax Partner in Birmingham, the successful individual will undertake corporate tax compliance and advisory work for the firms client base of large SME's, OMBs and international groups. For the right person there would be the opportunity to take on or progress towards management of junior team members if desired. You will prepare tax returns, liaise with HMRC, identify tax planning opportunities and liaise with clients in relation to their tax affairs.
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess relevant corporate tax experience within an accountancy practice. You will hold accountancy/tax qualifications (ACA/ ACCA/ ATT/ CTA) and will have gained exposure to a broad spectrum of corporate tax matters.
