Global Compliance Service - Senior Manager, PwC London

A career in our Global Compliance Services business within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax and reporting obligations across unique but ever changing and increasingly important tax and reporting environment. This role gives you the opportunity to gain a wider and better understanding of PwC as the top professional services firm and develop your global skills working with multi-disciplined teams in countries across the globe.

Our team helps our clients with their compliance across all taxes, statutory accounting and complex tax reporting. With a very experience and supportive leadership team you will be given the coaching to develop but also the space in which to grow and prove yourself in this growing area of the practise.

You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. This involves day to day management but also helping implement optimal sourcing structure for meeting their global compliance requirements in transition and throughout the contract term. This includes developing better ways of working, process improvement and implementing cutting edge technologies.


As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a UK and global team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and compliance experience, helping our clients solve their complex global compliance and business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to

Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above
Manage and deliver large global projects and teams, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the teams to drive efficiency and add value
Shape and deliver global projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria, coach, and supervise team members
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients and help lead client proposals and pitches
Continue to develop internal relationships and developing the PwC GCS brand

A career in our Global Compliance Services (GCS) practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their global compliance obligations across all taxes and statutory reporting. You’ll advise clients on their optimal sourcing structure for meeting their global compliance requirements while acting as a strategic consultant for their global compliance position including alignment with their internal transformation objectives.
