Description

Joining as Tax Manager / Senior Manager based in the firms offices in Taunton, you will manage a wide ranging client portfolio of OMBs, SMEs and larger corporate clients, along with managing and supporting a team of professionals. You will also develop tax advisory and planning opportunities across mixed tax with a focus on corporate tax, across projects such as tax efficient extraction of funds, capital allowances advice, sales and due diligence tax projects, R&D, personal tax projects for Directors etc. Alongside the advisory elements, you will also oversee a significant sized client base on the compliance side, managing this across the tax team. The firms clients are varied across a wide spectrum of industries and size, ranging from small sole traders and limited companies, to significant sized corporate OMBs, SMEs, directors and high net worth individuals. You will be responsible for a identifying opportunities for planning across the client base, building relationships and delivering tax solutions. Profile

You will either hold any of ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA, with a background in tax, as a corporate tax specialist, or mixed tax professional, as either an established Tax Manager / Senior Manager, looking for that next step in your career. You will have a background overseeing the delivery of compliance tax services, with advisory and planning skills, across both personal and corporate tax, ideally. Your experience will have been gained in small, medium or large independent firm environment, or larger Top 50/Top Tier firm background and you will be looking for a Tax Managerial position, where you can join a highly successful, independent firm of chartered accountants in the Somerset region, with prospects for progression and career development.

Job Offer

£40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits.
