Join this high-profile FTSE 100 company and work within its highly-respected HQ Tax Function.
This is a global tax reporting (IFRS) role, supporting the Tax Reporting Director, other members of the Tax team & the wider business.
In fact, business partnering is a big focus and, rarely for tax reporting roles, there will be other elements to the role - allowing you to broaden your experience across a range of tax issues. For example, proactively working to transform and improve processes & technology, providing input into strategy papers & supporting on UK compliance. There may also be occasions where you can spend time working with colleagues outside of the tax function, should you wish to.
Tax reporting will account for approximately 80% of the role. Day-to-day this will involve supporting / leading on year-end & interim tax reporting, managing relationships with external auditors, CBCR tax reporting, leading on tax rate & cash tax forecasting and process optimisation.
Ideally, you will already have good knowledge of IFRS and be comfortable with tax reporting systems and technology tools. An accountancy qualification would be helpful.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tax reporting specialist to make their first move into a commercial tax role or for an in-house tax reporting manager/senior manager to take on more responsibility. You will be liaising with different corporate departments, as well as divisional contacts, so this role will provide invaluable insights into working for a major FTSE 100 company.
