FTSE 50 - In-House Tax Manager

The variety of this role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to fast-track their tax career and will be essential to assist the corporate group in order to manage and optimise the organisation’s tax position

Responsibilities:

Develop and outline best practice for CT compliance and reporting
Assessing the impact of corporate tax developments and advising strategic change in order to optimise process
Advising the business on the tax implications of corporate decisions.
Review and challenge compliance work submitted by Big4.

Requirements:

Big 4 or Top Tier training, ACA and/or CTA qualified with 1-3 years PQE
Up-to-date knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
Exposure to other taxes including VAT would be advantageous
Experience of advising on CT matters is essential
Exposure to M&A would be beneficial but not essential
Confidence is essential, with the ability to communicate tax matters to individuals in sales, marketing, operations etc.
