Private Client Tax Manager, Kent

Fabulous opportunity to work locally and rid yourself of the odious commute into London, all the while retaining a fantastic client base and access to a myriad of specialists across the firm.

This role works directly to the Partner and comes with management responsibilities for the private client tax team.

As Number 2 to the Partner, you will be the point person for clients and as such will need to possess a high level of client engagement and commitment to providing an excellent service to them. You will manage the annual tax compliance cycle but also provide tax planning and advice to clients as needed. Being so close to the substantial client base, you will be well placed to spot opportunities to add value to the clients and also identify areas for further advisory work. In addition you will work closely with the Partner to build on the success of the current team and the future development of the department.

The client portfolio is diverse and includes HNWIs, entrepreneurs, directors / shareholders of OMBs, partnerships and non dom. A working knowledge of trusts would be useful.

It is anticipated that you will be CTA qualified and tax technically sound. Part of your role will be to impart your knowledge to more junior members of staff and support them in their career aspirations.
