Tax Director - Real Estate Compliance

The market leader in Real Estate Tax Advisory, has a fabulous opportunity for a senior individual to join the team to spearhead the firm's Tax Compliance offering for an array of UK Real Estate investors. Due to the firm strength in M&A, this will not be a business develop heavy role but more gaining access to team key clients and through superb compliance delivery, this team will simply thrive.

This role is ideal for an individual with a passion and interest in Tax Compliance and more importantly in this market, the associate technology which will allow effect management of the overall process.

Your client base will include:

A myriad of investors in UK Real Estate, including Real Estate and Private Equity funds, REITs, Sovereign Wealth funds and Family Offices of High Net Worth individuals.

Key responsibilities:

* Assisting Real Estate investors to comply with their UK direct tax obligations in an efficient and timely manner.
* Advising clients on the impact of recent and proposed legislation as they apply to Real Estate investors (such as the new corporate interest restriction rules, the proposed extension of CGT to commercial Real Estate and bringing non-resident companies investing in Real Estate within the CT regime).
* Responding the tax enquiries from HMRC.
* Assisting with the transformation of the annual tax process through process improvement, technology, risk and organisational design.

Of-course previous experience in the Real Estate market (whether in-house or in Practice) is highly advantageous and will only further a strong relationship with the M&A Real Estate team to ensure consistent flow of work.

Naturally this role can easily be worked on a flexible working manner to suit an individual's circumstance.
