Vacancy for a motivated Private Client professional to join a thriving Top 30 firm in Central London.

Your new company

A Top 30 firm located in the City of London, offering business advice to the SME community. The key areas of interest for the company are corporate, including real estate, media, technology, and hospitality, in addition to charities and not-for-profit organisations such as schools and membership association.

Your new role

As the lead Private Client Tax Manager, you will exercise full responsibility in delivering the firms tax service working alongside other dedicated tax professionals. Responsibility also for dealing with work on own dedicated portfolio in addition to heading up of the personal tax department and working with qualified personnel. A varied client portfolio including HNWs, Trusts, owner managers amongst others. The role will also encompass dealing with planning as well as advisory and compliance matters. Some corporate tax exposure desirable but not essential. This is a hands-on role which requires the review of personal tax returns, together with the preparation of returns for portfolio clients dependent upon degree of complexity; reporting directly to partners. Foremost, the delivery of the tax service is the key with great career progression opportunity.

What you'll need to succeed

You will possess either an ATT or a CTA. Essential to the role are good time-management skills, the ability to keep to deadlines and manage projects effectively, and to work solo or as part of a wider team.

Experience in US tax is also essential as this constitutes a large part of the firm's duties and outgoing assignments. The client base is an eclectic mix of UK and US professionals.
