Your new role

The firm are offering an experienced tax senior the opportunity to take-on real responsibility and work in a stand-alone role. With a commitment to providing services to local businesses the portfolio you will inherit is mixed. Much of the work will have an OMB flavour but there are also a good amount of HNWI, non-residents and share-holdings.

What you'll need to succeed

The main goal of the Tax Senior is in assisting the group in the review of company, business and personal returns together with accompanying accounts and all necessary reporting documents. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Tax Manager and will be assisting hem on tax planning assignments.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include carrying out tax compliance matters for both personal and corporate clients. You will also have some responsibility when it comes the the development of junior members of the group, whose returns and work you will have a hand in reviewing. You will also be expected to liaise with client, government department and third parties by post, phone and e-mail.

What you'll get in return

The ideal candidate will be a tax-senior or semi senior with an ATT qualification.

You will need to be a skilled communicator with the drive to form and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues alike. My client favours a candidate with an organised approach, a willingness to be flexible in helping others to provide a high level of service.
