Your new role
* Reviewing and commenting on corporate tax returns prepared by the GP team
* Getting involved with complex corporate tax returns for large companies and/or groups
* Being the main point of contact for GP with regards to business tax issues, general corporation tax and VAT compliance issues
* Liaising with HMRC on corporate tax submissions, amendments and general account management
* Tax residence certificates
* Reviewing of complex VAT returns
* Dealing with HMRC enquiries into corporate tax and VAT returns
* Assisting with iXBRL tagging of accounts and computations
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a CTA qualified individual with a detailed understanding of Corporate Taxation issues, within both an advisory and compliance capacity. You will have previously managed a portfolio of clients and have proven experience of excelling both as an individual and as part of a team. You will be working with senior members of staff, providing assistance when needed in a fast-paced environment where good communication is essential, along with excellent time and deadline management skills. As this role deals with wider corporate issues spanning a diverse portfolio of clients, significant VAT knowledge will also be required to perform around a third of the role.
