The client base is an eclectic mix of different sectors of the creative industries, such as theatre, branding, sport, and photography.

Your new role

You will be primarily responsible for managing and developing a small, dedicated tax team of both qualified and trainee employees, and oversee them as they deal with issues of personal tax, LLPs, and corporate clients respectively. You will need to possess and draw on elements of personal and corporate tax skills to complete a range of thought-provoking advisory and compliance tasks, such as compliance for self-employed individuals, LLP members and others, and corporate tax compliance to OMBs and larger entities. Additionally there will be some ATED reporting, tax advisory on residence and domicile issues, employee share schemes and profit extraction among others. You will attend client meetings, manage billing processes and liaise with the accounts team for preparation of financial statements.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have a professional qualification (CTA/ATT) and a minimum of 2 years practice experience, ideally post-qualification. Furthermore, a good understanding of taxation software and the ability to adapt to software changes is important. Your analytical and time management skills will complement your accuracy and focus in delivering quality results. Additionally, you will be at ease working in large teams or by yourself in equal measure.
