Large multi office independent seeking Corporate Tax Assistant Manager for one of 4 offices | £25-35k DOE
Your new company
Your new company is one of the largest independent practices in the North west. With 4 offices in the region, this firm has 19 partners and over 170 members of staff. This firm are looking to appoint a Corporate Tax senior/ Assistant Manager into either their Manchester, Liverpool, Widnes, Chester offices.
Your new role
As a member of the Corporate tax team, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients ranging in sizes and turnovers. You will be responsible for both the compliance associated with your portfolio and advisory work and projects. Typical advisory areas will include, capital allowances, advice on the optimum treatment of expenditure as capital or revenue, tax due diligence reports, advice for the 'not for profit' sector and R&D claims, with a particular focus on VAT.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have experience in managing a varied corporate tax portfolio of clients from within a reputable firm. You will have astute technical knowledge in some of the areas listed above and strong communication skills to establish and maintain close client relationships. The ideal candidate will be ATT and/or CTA qualified or equivalent.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of between £25,000-£35,000 dependent on experience plus 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. You will also receive free on-site parking and company pension alongside an excellent opportunity with a reputable firm.
