Our client is a boutique tax consultancy specialising in Research & Development tax credits for small to medium-sized businesses across the UK. The business has grown to service over 100 clients across the automotive, engineering and agriculture sectors, and this rapid growth is expected to continue.
The firm are now looking to hire an experienced R&D Tax specialist to take ownership of the firm's existing clients and manage their technical team of report writers. To succeed, you'll have an entrepreneurial drive and be comfortable with an early assumption of responsibility; as the business continues to expand, you'll also have the freedom to grow a team underneath you as you see fit.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have 3-8 years experience working in tax, ideally gained in a top accounting practice, a specialist R&D tax consulting firm, or in HMRC
• Be a chartered accountant or chartered tax advisor (ACA, ACCA OR CTA qualifications preferred)
• Have experience preparing, reviewing and submitting R&D claims to HMRC
