A senior level opportunity currently exists for a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience of International Tax, M&A and direct taxes. Working closely with Senior Business Stakeholders across the U.S, EMEA and APAC, a significant part of your role will be focused on effectively building direct tax awareness within the executive levels across all corporate functions. You will co-define and implement global process improvements as well as being aware of the growth strategy within a rapidly changing tax landscape. Extensive people management and project management of virtual teams is paramount.
Professionals must possess approximately 15 years tax expertise in either a Big 4 or multinational. Due to the worldwide scope of this role, previous overseas experience either via a secondment, longer term arrangement or high travel role from the U.S is essential. Managing a virtual team presents many different but exciting challenges, therefore U.S professionals who are working internationally but seeking a return or professionals who have enjoyed a strong international focus either in Europe, the Middle East or Asia are of high interest.
Candidates will ideally have an advanced degree (Masters or equivalent) and a detailed working knowledge of more than one jurisdiction.
Additional languages are not a pre-requisite but would be highly advantageous for this position.
