Due to ambitious plans and ongoing consistent growth, this firm would like to make an addition to their Corporate Tax Team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow at the level of either Manager or Senior Manager.

Your new role
As the successful Manager or Senior Manager, you will provide tax planning, assurance and compliance services to clients across a diverse range of industries. This will include advising multi-national organisations on their global strategy; foreign companies with a desire to expand into the UK; and UK head-quartered businesses wishing to extend operations abroad. You will also work closely with the Private Client Team to ensure entrepreneurs and their businesses are sensibly planning their strategy, growth and structuring in accordance with tax regulations. In order to do so, you will build relationships within the firm, identify business opportunities, contribute to business development by developing relationship with existing and new clients, and provide a high-quality service to your allocated client portfolio with support from other team members. You will also mentor and develop more junior staff, inclusive of the graduate population.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced and qualified (ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA) corporate tax practitioner with a proven track record in a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants. You will have a strong understanding of tax accounting and/or audit with the ability to develop strong client relationships and manage projects. You will be an excellent communicator with good business acumen, for example, be able to identify areas of risk. As a key figure within the team you will also have strong coaching abilities in order to develop junior members.
