Corporate Tax Manager job with Partnership Potential. Cambridge, Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds. Very good salary

Corporate Tax Manager required for a highly respected and expanding firm, who have offices in various locations across East Anglia. You can be based from either Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich and the role offers genuine future partnership potential.

The firm's client portfolio includes business clients across the spectrum from the very small to groups turning over several hundreds of million including OMBs, subsidiaries of larger international groups, charities and LLPs. The role includes advising not just the businesses themselves, but becoming the "trusted tax advisor" to owner managers, helping them on the interaction of their business's tax position into their own tax affairs in conjunction with the personal tax team, as well as advising on larger corporate issues and assisting the Corporate Finance team on transactional tax matters.

This is an interesting and varied role which provides real scope for personal and career development. You will work closely with the Corporate Tax Partner based in Ipswich, and with the rest of the team across the region. You will draw on your strong technical expertise to provide excellent front-line client service, alongside supervising the work of more junior staff and assisting with their development. You will also be actively involved in business development activities.

Experience of all aspects of Corporate and Business Tax within a professional services environment is essential, to include:

* Supervising the production of Corporation tax returns and advice
* Remuneration planning
* Tax issues surrounding business acquisitions and sales to allow you to assist the Corporate Finance team, including Entrepreneurs' Relief
* Corporate group restructuring
* R&D tax credits and patent box
* Cross border issues
* Loan relationships
* Share schemes
* EIS / SEIS
