Corporate Tax Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions

Leading practice with international presence seeking Corporate Tax Manager to work within M&A team | £45-£55k

Your new company
A leading practice with international presence and multiple offices across the North West. Due to an increase in the pipeline for Deal Advisory Tax, this firm are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager into the M&A team to support further growth. As a member of the M&A team you will provide tax structuring and tax due diligence services on transactions typically ranging in size from £10m.

Your new role
You will specialise in providing tax structuring, tax due diligence and restructuring advice on a wide range of transactions. You will co-ordinate the advice provided by other overseas teams and work closely with colleagues in Transaction Services. You will be responsible for developing relationships with the client, and understanding the client's business to help identify areas for the provision of tax and other services. You will have an involvement in business development activity and support more junior member of the team when necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have good UK corporate tax knowledge and an awareness of other tax and accounting areas from within a reputable practice. You will have experience in dealing high turnover corporations with complex tax matters and ideally, have a successful track record of delivery within M&A projects. You will have a high level analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice. You will be able to work as part of a team and to show initiative to drive projects forward.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of between £45,000-£55,000 dependent on experience and a flexible holiday allowance dependent on grade and current allowance.
